Final call, sailors! Your Shipyard MVP is due Feb 12th.
Ahoy, Shipyard crew! 👋
This is your captain speaking. We’re navigating the final stretch of our voyage, and the finish line is just a few days away! We’ve been blown away by the incredible projects we’ve seen so far, and we can’t wait to see what you’ve been building.
If your project is currently a work-in-progress on Devpost, now is the time to hoist the main sail and make that final push from Draft to Submitted. Remember, Shipyard isn’t about perfection; it’s about shipping a focused MVP. You’ve got this!
Feeling the pressure? It’s not too late to win.
Feeling like you’re behind? Don’t abandon ship! Our very own Perttu Lähteenlahti just published a blog post reminding us all that there’s still plenty of time to build a competitive app. It’s a short read packed with tactical advice and a much-needed motivational boost.
Read it here: You can still win Shipyard
A final treasure to motivate you...
As if the chance to win $20,000 and collaborate with a top creator wasn’t enough, we have one more surprise for you. Every single project submitted to Shipyard: Creator Contest will be automatically entered into a bonus prize draw. Five lucky participants will win $5,000 and some fresh RevenueCat swag.
That’s right – just by submitting your app, you have another chance to win big. What have you got to lose?
Your final submission checklist:
-
Make sure your app is available on TestFlight (iOS) or a Google Play testing track (Android) so judges can install it.
-
Confirm your RevenueCat SDK is integrated and that subscriptions or in-app purchases are actually purchasable (test store config doesn't count!).
-
Record your demo video – this is the primary way judges will review your app.
-
Make sure your submitted build is stable, launches correctly, and matches what's shown in your demo video.
-
Hit that "Submit" button on Devpost before 11:59 PM PST on February 12th.

We’re incredibly excited to see what you’ve created. Let’s bring these ships into port!
Fair winds and following seas,
— The Shipyard Crew
